The government on Monday launched clinical trial of BharatNet project through that it aims to supply high-speed broadband connections to any or all panchayats by the tip of 2019.

Major medium players like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, plan Cellular, and Vodafone Asian country have given cheques to the govt to rent infrastructure in gram panchayats (GPs) to supply broadband services.

Jio has given over Rs. 13.19 crores, Airtel Rs. 5 crores, plan Cellular Rs. five hundred thousand and Vodafone Rs. eleven hundred thousand to require property to villages in rural Asian country.
